How do you know about traffic?
You've been submitting your sites to search engines and writing a blog, you probably doing all that but you can't still get over 50-100 visitors per day. The question is why aren't you getting that traffic?
What can you do to enhance your traffic?
Content. If you do not have enough content for your site, the search engines are going to ignore you. Having 3 to 4 pages around your site but it's not related to a certain niche you are writing, you got it in the wrong way. And it's not just content, look at your competitors, what are you offering that the others do not have? If your site is just a carbon copy of billions of sites on your topic it doesn't going to make you standout, They gonna think that it's just the same from the other site that they have already read so why do they stay longer on your site? Do something different that they aren't doing.
Know your visitors. How do you communicate with your visitors? It is so important that you know who your visitors are. Try to engage with your visitors and readers as well. Know who are you targetting. It will help you write articles through engaging.
Build your credibility. People should know who is the owner of the site. You need the credibility and trust from your visitors. You got to bulid it and make people trust you. Show them that you are human, show some personality e.g. videos of yourself telling something about your topic etc. It's not just about showing or posting your email address on the sidebars to contact you, your readers want to know you more.
What is this all have to do with traffic?
When you have these things, people feel comfortable with your site, in the sense that they will recommend it to someone else telling that your website has good content and everything with the help of social networking sites around the internet.
These small things can help build traffic on your site believe me.
